SOCO® Soil Hydrogel is a novel functional polymer material. It possesses hydrophilic groups and extremely strong water absorption properties, capable of rapidly absorbing hundreds or even thousands of times its own weight in water while simultaneously preventing water loss. It is non-toxic and harmless, and its degradation products are beneficial and harmless to plants and soil.
SOCO® Soil Hydrogel has a three-dimensional network structure. Its polymer chains contain numerous hydrophilic groups. When water molecules come into contact with these hydrophilic groups, they can enter the product and be stored within it due to the potential difference created by the water potential gradient inside and outside the network structure. When the soil is short of water, this product can release more than 80% of the absorbed water back into the soil. The soil, which is non-crust, will have better infiltration and will allow for better germination.
Increasing soil water holding capacity and irrigation water utilization rate.
Promote crop growth and development, and increase crop yield.
Conserve water and soil, improve soil aeration.
Enhance fertilizer utilization and prevent nutrient loss.
Significantly improves the survival rate of transplanted seedlings and saplings.
Reduce irrigation frequency and the number of fertilization applications.
It enhances the absorption of water and fertilizer by the crop root zone, thus promoting crop growth.
Non-toxic, harmless, and biodegradable
1. Mix the fertilizer and soil thoroughly, then apply the mixture to the ground using a fertilizer applicator.
2. For limited areas (less than 20 square meters), manual application is recommended.
3. Till the ground thoroughly with a tiller (tillage depth required: 20cm).
4. Level the land.
5. Irrigate the land.
1. Allow the water-retaining agent to absorb 200 times its volume of water, forming a gel.
2. Place it in the planting furrow.
3. For limited areas (less than 20 square meters), manual application is recommended.
4. Prepare the topsoil before planting.
